ALT News: Webcast: Intellectual Property (IP) Protocol and Assessment for Faculty; Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m

Advanced Learning Technologies (ALT) will present a webcast to USG faculty and staff entitled: Intellectual Property (IP) Protocol and Assessment for Faculty on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.  Liz Johnson, Project Manager for ALT will present a protocol and assessment process developed for the eCore courses which streamlines the selection of third party IP and encourages the appropriate application of copyright exemptions.  This process was published in the March 2006 issue of Educause Quarterly.   The webcast will contain much of the content to be presented in a separate webcast hosted by Magna Publications in May 2007.

In order to promote interaction on campuses, each institution is asked to provide a single location from which faculty and staff can view the webcast.  Configuration and login information will be emailed to those who register.  The webcast will be recorded and archived for later reference or viewing by those unable to attend the live presentation.  For questions, please contact Liz.Johnson@usg.edu.
