USG SHARE, The University System of Georgia’s Digital Resource Exchange is now available to all USG Institutions
USG SHARE is a digital repository, provided by the University System of Georgia, populated with high quality instructional content. Through USG SHARE, faculty and instructional design staff can find existing instructional resources for course use or share content they use in their own teaching with others. The repository contains instructional resources that can be used across the curriculum to support teaching and learning in the traditional classroom and online.
USG SHARE Goals
- To reduce the time and costs of digital content development by encouraging the sharing of reusable digital learning objects among faculty in the USG
- To provide high quality reusable instructional resources that can be used across the curriculum to support teaching and learning within the USG
USG SHARE Benefits
- Provides a single online access point to high quality, accurate, reusable learning resources that will enhance and improve learning for USG students
- Improves efficiencies by reducing duplication of effort: create resources once, and re-use many times
- Improves learning outcomes by providing high quality digital instructional resources across the curriculum
- Assists faculty and students to create customized learning paths
- Provides a single online access point to reusable professional development resources that will facilitate the development of USG faculty and staff
Current Content includes:
- 421 complete lessons 10 course areas licensed from the National Repository of Online courses
- Content developed by USG faculty and staff such as:
- Nursing Scope of Practice Issues, Patient Safety
- Animated tutorial for the TI83 or TI84 calculator
- Basic Fractions Refresher
- Drag and Drop - Parts of the Ear
- Human Eye Rollover Labeling
- Metric Practice and Rounding
- Rollover Labeling of the External Human Heart
- Online Physics Labs with simulations
- Access to content in other repositories
- And much more.
Faculty and staff contributions to the repository are encouraged. You are invited to join the USG SHARE community. Use and adapt resources that are already available to you in the repository. Share resources that you use in your teaching!
