Studies
In addition to carefully crafted research, ALT conducts studies of shorter duration or more observational and evaluative in nature in its role of influencing technological and instructional development within the University System. Below is a list of studies conducted by or sponsored by ALT.
- USG Student Information Technology (SIT) Study Advanced Learning Technologies has completed a study of USG students regarding their experiences and expectations for using technology in their educational pursuits.
- CMS Survey Results As part of the GeorgiaVIEW (Georgia Vista Implementation Enterprise Wide), Advanced Learning Technologies (ALT) is conducting a study of current faculty uses, experiences, and expectations regarding course management systems (CMS)
- Usage Information In addition to major feature upgrades and system-wide integration potential that its predecessor, WebCT Campus Edition, lacked, WebCT Vista more readily allows for detailed usage and tracking information.
- National Studies In addition to conducting its own studies, ALT also assists the University System in participating in national studies of information technology in higher education. These studies provide benchmarks used by the University System Office and campuses in making decisions about information and instructional technology
